A man in Bhopal murdered his wife and concealed her body inside a fort located in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The victim, identified as Shivangi, the wife of Rishiraj Singh, was found dead four days after going missing within the Dhamoni fort. The police initiated a search after receiving a missing persons complaint from her family, leading them to the discovery. Suspicions fell on her husband, Rishiraj Singh, who admitted to the crime when questioned by authorities. He confessed to strangling his wife and hiding her body inside the fort. Reports indicate that Shivangi and her husband had visited the fort on September 13, after which Rishiraj returned home alone, and Shivangi went missing. Following the missing person report filed by her family, the investigation led to Rishiraj, who confessed to the murder. He revealed that he was involved in an extramarital affair and jealousy prompted him to commit the crime. Rishiraj has been arrested and is in custody while police continue their investigation and gather additional evidence.
